Happy birthday to Academician Siniša Stanković 🎂, who was born on this day in 1892. He selflessly wove his energy, enthusiasm and dedication to the development of biological sciences into our institute. In his honor, since 1966, our institute proudly bears his name.

As part of the the program Proof of Concept, Fond za nauku Republike Srbije will finance the Institute for Biological Research Siniša Stanković project DefensivACME. The project coordinator is Dr. Aleksandra Popov Aleksandrov working with colleagues from Dept. of Ecology and Plant Physiology.
