#FarmingCares we are gradually replacing all our footpath stiles with kissing gates because we want to make our rights of way more accessible. We did this one on a well used path yesterday.

Looking at the better spring forecast it looks like farmers are about to get busier. So please take health and safety very seriously folks. The last thing our health and emergency service needs now is having to cater for people who decided to take risks.Think safe. Stay safe.

This crisis could well change the way this country looks at food security and what that means in terms of maintaining UK production. BUT this is NOT the time for farming industry to seek to take political advantage, it’s time for the industry to ask what it can do to help.

No need to panic! We’ve plenty of milk. Our milk is all from our cows on our farm. Zero food miles, if we need more we can bottle more! #shoplocal

I might have mentioned supply chain equity a few times over the last 12 months. Commercial pressure has led to supply chain fragility and lack of fairness. There is nothing in here I take issue with. We reap what we sow. hope a more resilient food policy is the silver lining

Too many people not keeping their distance on the hill today, dogs loose and now a flurry of tissues. #CoronaCrisisuk #whatiswrongwithpeople?

Spring wheat at last drilled into land we’ve been looking at for months. But no heroics here when there are real heroes out there on the NHS frontline. Next autumn when this wheat is harvested I’m minded to use the flour to bake you the biggest ruddy THANK YOU cake ever made

The world may have been plunged into a dark time but farmers all over Britain are quietly going about their business, growing fantastic produce, planting crops to be harvested this summer. Don't worry about food Britain, we have your back. #EatFarmNow #justfarmersuk #FoodArmy

Well said Richard Findlay & Wyn Evans. Key is making sure hindquarter cuts are sold in good volumes to return to a better carcase balance. Can’t beat Red Tractor steak this weekend so let’s see all the retailers doing their bit to drive sales

Dear Hovis Bakery please can you confirm what percentage of UK produced #milling #wheat you currently use in your bread as the packaging suggests it’s 100%?

There are fears that glyphosate weedkillers cause cancer. But the evidence is weak and a ban would be harmful ow.ly/8kOE30gaLOp
