In years to come, kids will quizzically watch footage of teams failing to “play out against the press”, and we’ll explain that it was a tactic invented by a manager who had all the best players, inexplicably copied by managers who definitely didn’t. And the kids won’t get it…

Good to hear. Monty Panesar gave his time and support a few years back to raise money for the The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity at a dinner in Vikki's name so I have a lot of time for him. He has a good heart. Feels like he just listened to the wrong people.
