Our local former Stasi prison is reopening soon with a new exhibition. With the people behind it it should be a bit less sensationalist than a lot of #GDR related museums, especially in Berlin.

Hope tourism will start up again at some point.

O hi lovely new followers. I spent this week in Leipzig (not a holiday exactly, but I did take time for some museums.) Saw some #DDR design too.

It is a great irony that you can still buy a selection of Dederon items on Amazon. (Dederon being a local brand name for nylon, named for the DDR)
