Good story by Archdio. of Boston archivist Violet Hurst in The Pilot about Katherine Conway, acclaimed poet, essayist + the first woman editor of the Pilot in 1905. Katherine was a trustee of the Boston Public Library and in 1907 received the distinguished Laetare Medal from University of Notre Dame.
