At the Southampton Boat Show you can see the Hostess 17 which was one of the original open cockpit, deep-chine hull speed boats built by Sunseeker in Poole. She is a stunning boat and we are delighted that next year this Hostess 17 will be on display at the Classic Boat Museum.

We recently welcomed monks from Quarr Abbey to the Gallery in East Cowes to study the importance of boat and shipbuilding to the history of the Isle of Wight. The Gallery showcases many models & images of vessels built by the people of the Island over several centuries.

Cadets from the Royal Solent Yacht Club enjoyed a training session on our Dinghy Simulator. Mastering random gusts in 18 knots as they navigated their way around the course. Thanks to Arthur Farley (our Dinghy Simulator Ambassador) & Paul Wells for making the introduction.
