As part of their work for Jill Dando News the crew had an inspirational visit from Sheridan who shared her experiences of reporting, commentating and media work. The children were fascinated by the insight into sports media and journalism.

We were joined by our friend, Brian from Kenya Hope Charity who shared how the money raised by us last year helped to build a kitchen for children in a school in Kenya. Look out for details of this years event and the sponsorship forms that are coming home this week Becky Poole

The crew enjoyed joining other UK schools as part of the STEM with wings project from Big Ideas They were able to listen to NASA’s Ashitey Trebi-Ollenu as part of the event and learn about the different Rover missions to Mars. Mario was thrilled to have his question answered!

The children have been busy creating art in the style of the Ukrainian artist, Maria Primachenko.

Year 5 had a wonderful morning creating their summer salads thanks to the guidance of Design PCSA As well as developing their design skills, the children are now all experts at washing and drying up. Good news for all at home!

As part of enterprise week, year 5 have designed and made these seashell mobiles. Available to purchase during our look at learning on Monday between 2:30 and 3pm.
