Thank you to the SAC for an enjoyable & informative day. Denis Griffin from Teagasc Oak Park highlighted the release of Buster, the only variety currently commercially available that has 6 PCN resistance genes. No other variety offers the level of resistance than Buster! 🥔

IPM will be participating in several 'Open Day' events again this year, including Caythorpe Breeders Demo Days, Potatoes in Practice & leading merchant Open Days throughout the UK. We have been busy bagging samples of all our newest varieties & looking forward to a timely plant.

Our Scottish team enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday while planting a Powdery Scab trial. This trial consisted of 8 new varieties/seedlings & the results will allow us to see how susceptible/resistant the varieties are to Powdery Scab & to advise on best growing practise.
