Navel orangeworm counts are going up. When there are āhullsplitā almonds which release volatiles that is attractive to gravid NOW females for egg laying. Both NOW activity and hullsplit progression are two critical factors to time insecticide spray effectively. Ag&Natural Resources UC Statewide IPM Program
