Palestinians have always outnumbered Israelis they're literally 50% of the population of Jordan nevermind the actual diaspora, they're just illegally prevented from returning home by military force.
The conflict in #Gaza has heightened tensions across the region, impacting #Lebanon & #Jordan .
During my visit, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by communities.

With support from Canada in Jordan🇨🇦, IOM launches a key project with JORSOF to enhance gender mainstreaming within @JAF. IOM will construct a dedicated accommodation for female soldiers & study its impact, ultimately strengthening JORSOF's capabilities and promoting inclusivity.

The delays exacerbate challenges faced by these individuals and their families. Transparency is requested on processing barriers and delays. Immediate action is crucial to provide relief and security.

I am deeply concerned about the processing timeline for Afghan Allies P-1 and P-2 Refugee cases. Individuals interviewed in 2023 are still waiting, while recent interviews are expedited, leaving many vulnerable.
