The Rohingya humanitarian crisis is in its 8th year, now mostly out of the international spotlight. But needs are urgent. IOM, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and partners appeal to the international community for support to help 1.5 million Rohingya refugees and their hosts in #Bangladesh.



Over the past two years, IOM Ireland & Irish Red Cross have supported 50 families (175 people) in reuniting in Ireland, ensuring safe and dignified journeys. In 2025, we remain committed to this vital work, continuing to strengthen families and communities. #FamilyReunited




Profoundly saddened by Pope Leo XIV’s passing. He was a beacon of moral clarity, an unwavering voice for the rights of migrants and for victims of injustice. He was a good and faithful servant, and his legacy of compassion and human dignity should continue to inspire the world.

For #TraffickingInPersons Awareness Week, IOM Ireland is highlighting key efforts of 2025. In June, IOM delivered training to 92 service providers across 18 organisations to support victim ID and referral. Targeted, ongoing training is vital. To close #TraffickingInPersons Awareness Week, IOM brings attention to its "Anyone Trafficked?" campaign. 250+ posters & leaflets shared with service providers in 15 counties across Ireland to aid victim identification.
