🌊 With the support from EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 provided jerrycans and 1.4m aquatabs to 12,000 families across 9 Upazilas in Feni & Noakhali to ensure #safewater amidst the #easternflood crisis.💧

In Cox’s Bazar 🇧🇩, #Dengue remains a major threat for #Rohingya #refugees & host community. IOM increased to 70 inpatient beds across its 8 health facilities. In addition, IOM provides outpatient diagnosis & consultation in all its facilities, treating 5,000+ patients this year.

📢The Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh Professor Muhammad Yunus underscored the need for expedited third country resettlement of the #Rohingyas living in BD & requested for IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳's continued support, when he met the IOM BD delegation led by CoM Abdusattor Esoev, on Sunday.

⛈️ Continuous rain & flooding are severely impacting the #Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar 🇧🇩. The situation remains critical, with IOM teams working 24/7 to support #refugees. Teams & volunteers are alerting refugees & relocating those in landslide-prone areas to safer locations.

My thoughts and prayers with #Rohingyas for yet another tragic loss of lives and devastating flooding in the camp! I call upon international community continued support these most vulnerable people, as I conclude my tenure here in #Bangladesh in coming days.

Once again, devastating rains causing floods & landslides hit the #Rohingya #refugee camps in Cox's Bazar 🇧🇩, leaving significant damages & displacing thousands of refugees. IOM teams are relocating the most vulnerable, assessing the damages & delivering urgent humanitarian aid.
