What we’re witnessing in Gaza is not a failure of humanitarian response. It’s the systematic obstruction of aid It’s the targeting of aid workers It’s intentional starvation as a method of warfare It’s time to act decisively. Read our joint statement: ngosafety.org/latest/mass-st…

NGO bans & restrictions have doubled since 2021, and 2025 could be the worst yet. As INSO’s Director told the UN: “States increasingly view aid as a partisan act to be directed, controlled, or criminalised.” This is a global trend shrinking humanitarian space.

On average at least one aid worker is killed every single day. This is the sombering reality we shared with the UN Security Council. 📈 2024 was the deadliest year for aid workers. ⚠️ 2025 may surpass it. This is not a coincidence. It’s a consequence of impunity.
