It’s official! Maine Governor recently signed legislation to establish a new state office to help new immigrants integrate into the state's workforce! Congrats Maine Immigrants’ Rights Coalition and other advocates on the ground for this huge win!
Per MigrationPolicy Inst, 165,000 immigrants & refugees with undergrad health degrees from abroad are underemployed, including 13,000 in NY. S7002B aims to address similar disparities by expanding pathways for internationally trained physicians to practice in NY. Support this bill!
