#ACEIllinois officially started today. 50 leaders from +20 countries will pursue new partnerships with top innovation clusters in Illinois on Next Gen Agriculture, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics, Energy, Quantum and AI.

Sunday kicked off the 20th edition of the Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) as #ACEIllinois 2025 welcomed more than 60 delegates from the Americas and partner nations to Chicago for the six-day event.

#ACEIllinois delegates visited the UIC Innovation Center – part of UIC’s IIN hub – where they heard researchers and program directors discuss current topics related to health innovation. In addition, key partners shared real-world examples of health innovation changing lives.

The University of Illinois System led IIN played a key role in OAS Competitiveness and the federal government choosing Illinois for its most recent ACE edition.
