It is with deep sadness that I report the passing of Prof. Alan Harvey, a giant in the field of toxinology, former President of IST, & Editor-in-Chief of Toxicon for a phenomenal 26 years. I will sorely miss his friendship, cheeky Scottish humour & tremendous intellect. RIP Alan.
