Susan Roundtree, speaking this evening to the Limerick chapter on the history of brick making in Ireland and most especially in Limerick and Clare. We so often take Limerick’s ā€œbrickinessā€ for granted, it was a delight and education to learn more about their manufacture.

200 years of untouched Limerick history at No.3 Pery Street. #Limerick, 1826. Originally 4 storys over basement, the top floor was removed in the 1960s. Recently sold, hopefully the new owners will respect the historic fabric and attractive patina of this rare untouched beauty.

This really matters. The impact is measurable! Rubbish halves how pleasant people find our high streets. Our Deltapoll survey shows when rubbish is present on a high street, its "pleasantness score" drops from 8/10 (left) to just 4/10 (right)....
