Another full IFE Lancashire Group CPD event at UCLan Fire @UniLancs yesterday on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) by Gary Howe from Zurich Insurance. Covered many of the challenges Fire Authorities and insurers are facing due to limited testing and planning gaps but BESS risk is growing!

On Wednesday The University of Central Lancashire - UCLan hosted our Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service Junior Lecturette Competition. Every single Cadet was incredible and did themselves and units proud, but Jess from our South Shore unit came out as the Judges winner with Sarah a close second 👏#firecadets
