Training programme phase1 of MOFA of Nepal 🇳🇵 Officers is concluded today. Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA), Nepal extends its gratitude to all resource persons who shared their knowledge, experiences and thoughts. Also commennable is the zeal that our participants showed throughout the programme.
Basic Foreign Service Training- aimed at enhancing management & policy skills among MOFA of Nepal 🇳🇵 officials started on July 17. Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal delivered keynote lecture highlighting issues of our Foreign Policy & challanges facing future leaders of Nepali diplomacy.
On 24 August, as entrusted by Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba MOFA of Nepal 🇳🇵 IFA conducted a workshop of senior Foreign Service officials to SWOT analyse various institiutional and policy aspects that they have been dealing on a daily basis. Was an exciting knowledge generating exercise.
Basic Foreign Service Training concluded today with Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal conferring certificates to our participants. IFA is grateful to all resource persons for making it a joyous & fruitful journey. We wish our participants successfull career in Nepal Foreign Service.
FOOD SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITY Bishow Parajuli was profoundly thought provoking. So was the ensuing interaction. Hope this edition of #IFA_Lecture contributes to mainstreaming food security debate & debate on many other transnational issues in Nepali Foreign Policy discourse.
An #IFA_Lecture was delivered by Bishow Parajuli on the topics FOOD SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITY. It touched upon many pertinent natinal and international issues of food security and its relations to development and overall national security.

Mr. Mo Fuchun, DG Counselor's Office, Shanghai Municipal Government visited IFA on 5 November & held a meeting with ED Prakash Kumar Suvedi. They emphasized importance of close collaboration between think tanks in order to further strengthen the mulifaceted ties between Nepal and PRC.
A two-day Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA), Nepal; FRS joint workshop on Hague Code of Conduct on Missile Proliferation successfully concluded on Feb 7. Various Nepali governmental and non-governmental stakeholders could further enhance their understanding of this unique aspect of non-proliferation.
