I'm super interested in how algorithms can be regulated from their data. At #CSLAW2024 next week in Boston, we will present "Regulation of Algorithmic Collusion". Tl;dr: Good algorithms satisfy "calibrated best response"; they can't collude; and it can be checked from data.

At the #CSLAW2024 conference, Liren Shan presented our joint work on "Error-tolerant Classification Protocols", with Jinshuo Dong and Aravindan Vijayaraghavan. It develops e-discovery protocols that are efficient, accountable, and minimally disclosive. arxiv.org/abs/2401.17952
