Beech class Ivy Chimneys Primary have been investigating reversible and irreversible changes. We mixed bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to create carbon dioxide and blow up our balloons. Experiment time: if you mix milk and vinegar is it a reversible or irreversible (chemical) change?

The Inter-House Cross Country took place Ivy Chimneys Primary last week & the results are in. The Badgers were overall champions this year, with strong showings from every house placing them in the top 3 in each individual race. With competition looming, the squad looks good this year!

After some amazing performances at the local finals (where 2 of our runners finished 1st in their races & we had the highest placed Y4 girls team) today we travelled to Southend to take on the best from the whole of Essex! Our girls finished 3rd best team and Matthew 19th - Wow!
