Day 1 of #ICED2025 was great! From inspiring sessions to a powerful keynote by Christine Yoshinaga-Itano on early intervention & Deaf professionals' role — it was a day full of insight and connection. Thanks to our amazing staff & interpreters!
The 2nd day of #ICED2025 started with Maartje De Meulde showing us how to build an academic space centered on the deaf experience. Then a lot of discussions and a rich poster session!
Here we are again at ICED 2025, the third day started with a beautiful talk by Deborah Chen Pichler. To conclude, our keynote speaker Thomastine A. Sarchet-Maher invited us to reflect on how to fight colonialism in the field of Deaf Education.
This morning in Rome ICED 2025 began with a presentation involving both the mind and the body. Our keynote speaker Stefania Fadda made us experience mindfulness by talking about mental health in deaf, hard of hearing and deaf blind children.
