Was pleasure to write this piece in Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology with talented Nuru Noor. We argue not just for structural changes to phII trials in IBD but exploiting scientific advances &leveraging existing data to offer new endpoints hence more precise&efficient trials & ⬇️placebo
