In high risk non-variceal UGIB, OTSC should be considered over TTS clips as first line (STING-2) - high risk in this study defined as Rockall score ≥7 - OTSC lead to higher successful haemostasis and lower rebleeding rates - no differences in mortality or need for surgery

Surgical indications for ulcerative colitis - CRC as a reason for colectomy is increasing over time - ⬆️medical therapies ->⬆️ duration of disease before surgery - ⬆️cumulative inflammation -> ⬆️colitis assoc. dysplasia/cancer - stages of CRC has remained stable (~40% with LNM)
