Congratulations to Briarwood Healthcare Center in Iowa City who received the 2025 Governor’s Award for Quality Care in Health Care Facilities. The annual award recognizes facilities that demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to residents’ health, dignity, and quality of life.

It was a beautiful evening to officially kick off the Iowa State Fair with our annual parade!. Thank you to all the community groups, businesses, and volunteers who made today possible!
