Slave Zero X is the surprise prequel to the classic 1999 shooter. It missed many peoples radars due to it launching in such a busy window and being fairly niche, but its a game you should check out!

Just watched The Hidden from 1987 with Kyle MacLachlan. Nice buddy cop movie with a sci-fi twist. Nothing groundbreaking, but it had a charming tone and well done effects.

Just replayed Zone of the Enders with the undub patch. Still awesome!

I beat P.N.03 again with the Japanese version. Way more enjoyable with the upgrade pacing. Gonna go through a third time on hard to get that Papillion suit. You just have to beat it on Hard in Japanese, meanwhile you need to beat 50 trials on Professional rank in our ver. Insane!

Been playing P.N.03 over the Japanese version, and they definitely made the game harder for us to the game's detriment. Upgrades and suits are like 4x as expensive in our version so they aren't paced as well throughout a playthrough.

Just beat P.N.03 on GameCube. Really cool movement system where every enemy attack required a proper response. Animations were obviously godly. It lacked much in terms of level assets and a real story to latch onto. If you told me this was the first GameCube game, I'd believe it.

Just replayed No More Heroes on my Wii. I beat this thing back around when it came out, but since the open world was so infamous, I avoided it as much as possible and missed out on a lot of content and charm. This time, I got the true ending and even all of the balls!

Just beat Dark Souls 2 for the first time since it came out on PS3. This time on PC with Scholar. I wanted to finally play the expansions and I beat every boss in the game. It's still heavily flawed, but it has definitely been elevated in my eyes as an overall experience.

Was getting stomped by the Fume Knight in Dark Souls 2, so a friend suggested I use this helmet to make him easier. He was fucking with me and it made the boss immediately jump to its second phase, so I had to lock in and finally beat him in that form. Satisfying!

Last night BestGuyEver, the YouTube channel I've cultivated for 9 years, was terminated (w/ all others I own).
IMMEDIATE action must be taken to reverse this chain of events.

Just beat Quantum Theory on RPCS3. Very derivative of Gears of War in terms of gameplay mechanics, but it had some interesting environments and concepts in its world.

Just beat Ghost of Sparta. Really well done bridge between the sympathetic Kratos of GoW1 and the tyrant of GoW2. Justified why Kratos and the gods hated each other much more, while drawing many visual parallels with the very first game. Consistent dour art design as well.

We really assembled like Voltron making that Shadow video, goddamn.
