#OnThisDay in 1797, Mary Shelley was born. She wrote 'Frankenstein', a landmark work of #ScienceFiction, at just 19. Here you can see the drafts from her notebooks, complete with corrections and amendments. You can almost feel her energy changing as her handwriting shifts.
