REQUEST: #Himalayanbalsam seeds are ripe for the picking at the mo. If you are going for a walk this week and pass a stand of this plant could you collect some seeds for me please? Can pay for postage too. Would be great to get seeds from various locations. Alan Law Nigel Willby

The best conference talks I give are always the night before when I'm trying to get to sleep... and I inevitably forget all the things I want to remember. So I'll see everyone tomorrow at #epcnponds21 for an inferior talk on ponds and lakes!

Our researchers are sharing our freshwater connectivity results at the EPCN conference. Spoiler alert; connectivity can be a double-edged sword!

EPCN Jack Greenhalgh NorfolkPondsProject Great presentation Jack Greenhalgh! If people are interested in hearing more, there's an 'audio-poster' on the #epcnponds21 poster page, alongside loads of other goodies: europeanponds.org/conference/9th…

An amazing amount of work went into this, great to see the results developing. Faecal indicator organisms are in almost every lake/pond studied, but the drivers of e.coli hotspots aren't clear.
