Exciting start to Science week in 6M! 🚀🔬 Parent volunteers shared their amazing experiences, showcasing the power of science in their professions. 💡 We had a cyber security expert 🖥️, a molecular biologist 🧪, and a Clinical Scientist 🧬. A big thanks to all the parents!!

DETERMINATION CITY! In 4P this afternoon, we tried our hand at sawing wood for the first time. We followed safety guidelines and listened very carefully to make photo frames. I am so impressed with the maturity and perseverance shown in 4P today. Well done superstars!

In 3S we (carefully!) acted out the fight scene between Theseus and the Minotaur as part of our English learning journey. Can you see children 'charging fiercely', 'stabbing angrily' or 'dodging quickly'?

5L practised their measuring, sawing and sanding skills today when starting to construct their wind chimes for our Design and Technology project - determination and enthusiasm from everyone!

3S enjoyed an energetic launch to their new topic about Ancient Greece. The children's costumes were great and they competed well in their mini-Olympics!

Year 4 had a fantastic visit this morning from a dental nurse. We had lots of interesting questions and we definitely learnt a thing or two! I think everyone is going to make sure they're brushing for 2 minutes tonight 🦷🪥

Today we are observing the results of our experiment we set up before the Easter holidays in 4P. Time to get our scientist hats on! 👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬

4C had a visit from the dental nurse this morning to help us to learn how to look after our teeth.

Viking fun in 5F today as we enjoyed learning lots of facts and interesting stories about our new topic. 🪓🛶

3FP have had a fantastic launchpad day for our new Ancient Greeks topic! We made laurel wreaths and wrote our own class oath, which we read aloud at our opening ceremony before beginning our mini olympics! Congratulations to Henshaw and Bulkeley who were our joint winners.
