Jeff Planutis was named NEC Player of the Week and Bernie Blunt III was named a Prime Performer, the NEC announced. Planutis went out with a bang as he scored 32 points, with 30 coming from deep. His ten made three pointers was a career. Blunt added 18 points and six rebounds.

Graduate Student Jeff Planutis was named to Men's Basketball All-NEC First Team! Planutis averaged 15.5 points a game in the Lakers first DI season. He scored 10 or more points in 28 of Mercyhurst's 31 games this season.

Senior Aidan Reichert was named to the Men's Basketball All-NEC Second Team! Reichert averaged 13.7 points per game this season. He showed weekly dominance as he put up 10 or more points 25 times this season. He also had stellar play on defense as he recorded 162 rebounds.

Jeff Planutis picked up more honors yesterday as he was named an Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week. Planutis capped off his stellar Laker career this past weekend with a 32 point performance. It included 10 three pointers. #HurstAthletics | #CarpeD1em ☘️
