It's the start of Armed Forces Week and we're flying the Armed Forces Day Flag at Huntingdon Town Hall. We'll be sharing the various different ways that Huntingdon supports our armed forces all week. #ArmedForcesDay #SaluteOurForces

This week we're sharing the various different ways that Huntingdon supports our armed forces as part of Armed Forces Week. Huntingdon Town Council has granted the Freedom of Huntingdon to numerous Armed Forces regiments based locally or with a historic connection to Huntingdon.

Huntingdon Town Council works closely with RAF Wyton on community projects as well as our annual Remembrance Sunday service. This year, they asked us if they could show their commitment to the local community by cleaning the war memorials across the town.

Today is not just the State Opening of Parliament, but also the Queen’s birthday. Happy birthday to Her Majesty Queen Camilla. The union flags 📷 have been proudly displayed from the Town Hall balcony to mark the occasion.
