Spot on Freddie Poser 👏 The average house price in the 1980s was 3 times the average salary - it's now 9 times. As a result, the average time required to save for your first home was 3 years in the 1980s - it's now 19 years.

Popped along to the Chislehurst police meeting organised by Chislehurst Matters this evening. Interesting to hear from Superintendent Baldock about his plan for policing across Bromley. Very welcome news that the police are exploring having a base in Chislehurst / Mottingham.

Great to be out at Bromley North supporting my good friend Peter Fortune MP - Peter has already shown his commitment to Bromley as councillor and London Assemblies Member. He will be a powerful local champion for #Bromley&BigginHill
I met with Sir Bob Neill KC (Hon) yesterday to talk about the work he has done regarding the cladding crisis. This needs to be resolved - those suffering are not at fault. I commit to continuing the work Sir Bob started.
