Charlotte’s defense won the team’s first scrimmage this morning, according to Tim Albin. “The disappointing thing is the penalties. I’m going to have to look into getting officials here (more). If we’re asking them to clean it up, we’ve got to train them the right way.”

Charlotte fighter Bryan Battle’s fight has been scrapped from tonight’s UFC 319 prelims, per UFC officials. Battle and his opponent Nursulton Ruziboev mutually agreed to reschedule the fight to UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi in October.
