Today is #NationalSigningDay! In honor of the occasion, check out some of the best freshmen pitchers from D1Baseball last season by FIP💪 1⃣ C. Morgan, Louisiana 2⃣ L. Pirko, Cal Baptist 3⃣ A. Knaak, Clemson 4⃣ C. Dygert, UT Arlington 5⃣ L. Reddemann, San Diego

The reigning West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year, Logan Reddemann returns to San Diego Baseball after logging a 4.01 ERA in a team-high 76.1 innings. He is also a switch-hitter who had a huge fall offensively and could show off his freakish athleticism at shortstop or in center field.

.Austin Smith opened last season as San Diego Baseball's closer, but the two-way talent pitched so well that he joined the starting rotation and finished with a 3.49 ERA and .225 BAA in 56.2 innings. At the plate, he produced a .900 OPS with more walks (31) than strikeouts (26).

.Jack Gurevitch is back to anchor the San Diego Baseball lineup after starting all 56 games at first base last season. The junior is one one of the most proven bats in West Coast Conference, with a .299/.420/.486 slash line in 468 career plate appearances.

The son of Hall of Famer Adrian Beltre, Adrian Beltre Jr. will enter 2025 as San Diego Baseball's primary option at third base. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound freshman has also been up to 94 mph on the mound this fall and could grow into one of the Toreros' next stars.
