The Prime Minister’s statement on immigration today will damage our economy, the NHS, social care and our universities. It ignores the need to boost Scotland’s working age population. This sort of divisive language only plays into Nigel Farage’s hands. Not in Scotland’s name.

57 children have been killed in the last ten weeks, from the effects of malnutrition, as a result of the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The slaughter and starvation of children in front of our very eyes. What red lines are left to cross? This inhumanity must end, and end now.

We do not deserve to be forgiven for allowing this genocide to continue with impunity. Shame on all of those who are complicit.

Demanding an end to the killing of children in Gaza does not make you antisemitic. It does not make you a supporter of Hamas. It simply makes you human. Don't be silent. Don't be complicit. Demand an end to the bloodshed and blockade of Gaza.
