I had 1st hand experience of how corrupt the South African television directors are. You need a strong TMO to ask for the correct angle they will show you everything but.

Rugby needs to bring back only in the act of scoring should the TMO be called in. Like the old days, it worked fine then. Far too much TMO interference that takes away the ethos of refereeing.

I’ve said it before, the use of the TMO in rugby is killing the game. Let the referee in the middle make decisions. He will get some wrong but coaches, players and fans will respect it. This is overkill IMO.

Sorry to bang on about the role of TMO but I am a rugby fan as well as ex referee. Stuart Barnes has this spot on. World Rugby need to do something urgently to fix this.

Have to say Henry Pollock is a great player in an expansive game. Will suit Lions against Australia in test series I think. Against a more physical side like SA not so much. However I like what he brings to the team, energy , physicality and annoyance.

With the Welsh Women’s World cup starting against Scotland on August 23rd in England. Why the hell are they going all the way to Australia to play 2 tests 26th July and 1st aug. Where’s the sense in this also not forgetting expense in this. Jet lag etc. 😦😦😦

Feel for Jac Morgan didn’t get in the 23 which I find incredible. I’m not saying this because he’s Welsh but so far bar the opening game he’s been superb. 😦
