Compounding injustice. European colonisers took First Peoples land & forced them onto small missions & reserves. Those reserves were then broken up for land for returned soldiers. Aboriginal soldiers who fought were denied access to the land scheme. abc.net.au/news/2024-04-1…

Everyone needs a home. We should all be able to live somewhere in security, safety and dignity. Yet for many people in Australia, this is currently out of reach. This Bill, if passed, would help to address this. We need to treat housing as a human right, not a commodity.
