After passing her ABRSM Grade 5 Violin exam at Christmas, Xanthe started learning the Viola at the start of the year. She is now celebrating a duo of successes, having passed her ABRSM Grade 5 Viola exam with merit. Excellent work, Xanthe!

Congratulations to Aneira in Year 2 for passing her Karate grading to achieve the 10th Kyu last weekend. What an impressive accomplishment!

Year 5 had a special visit from Blue Watch of Ely Fire Station. Four firefighters gave an engaging talk about home fire safety, during which we watched a video demonstrating how quickly a fire can start and spread, emphasising the critical message to 'get out and stay out'.

During this morning's assembly, Mrs Davis celebrated a group of dedicated Prep School students who have completed either the DoodleMaths or DoodleEnglish Spring Challenge. The girls in the second photo completed both! Excellent work.

Families and friends are in for an enchanting evening of musical entertainment as our talented prep school students take the stage for a spectacular performance. These photos, captured during today’s dress rehearsal, showcase the students wowing an audience of their peers.

Thank you to our friends at Rougemont School for a wonderful afternoon of cricket and tennis. It was a successful event with all Year 6 students playing in matches, supported by some Year 5 players.

They delivered their questions with confidence and have prepared additional ones for our upcoming session with Kevin Brennan MP, MP for Cardiff West, to explore his work in the UK Parliament. We certainly have some engaged and passionate voters and politicians for the future!

On Tuesday, Year 9 participated in a virtual visit from Mark Drakeford 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 MS as part of their involvement in The The Politics Project. In preparation for the question-and-answer session, students researched Drakeford's career and devised insightful questions.

Huge congratulations to Charlotte H for winning two gold medals for being the fastest in her class and the quickest overall unregistered female racer in the entire secondary school event at the Cardiff Schools Ski Champs!

This term, our Year 6 science lessons focus on exploring the plants and animals around our school. Students have been enthusiastic about hands-on activities like the pond dipping lesson. They’ve had a fantastic time learning outdoors and discovering the wildlife on our grounds.
