We appreciate Trader Joe’s for donating toys for the children in our community. This kind of support helps parents too, giving them one less thing to worry about during the holidays and letting them enjoy special moments with their children. Thank you

In just two months, JP and AB paid off their credit card debt and built their savings from zero to $1,400. Their shared commitment to financial health is helping them create a foundation for long-term stability. #HouseOfRefuge #FinancialFreedom #CouplesThatThrive

Because of UnitedHealthcare our mission doesn’t stop when a family leaves our campus it continues. Their generous grant made our Alumni Program possible, allowing us to walk alongside families for up to six months after they transition into independent housing. Thank you #mesaaz

Myth: Homelessness is caused by laziness or poor choices. Fact: Most families experiencing homelessness are working, parenting and doing everything they can—without access to safe, affordable housing. Homelessness isn’t a lack of effort. It’s a lack of safe options. #gilbertaz

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the bike. My daughter received a really nice bike, and I found myself shedding a few tears last night thinking about all the nice things that have happened this year. Please pass my thanks up the chain. We are so grateful.” #mesaaz

At the Community Center children reflected on what they’re proud of. These may seem like small moments; yet they are signs of stability taking root. Of dignity being restored. Of children discovering who they are becoming. Hope grows when someone chooses to believe in you.

Transitional housing isn’t a handout it’s a hand up. It means a safe place for children to sleep, stability for parents to rebuild, and time to heal, save, and plan for the future. It’s the bridge between crisis and independence. #HousingIsHope #PovertyAwarenessMonth

“Thank you so much for helping me with new tires. Now we can make it to our important appointments. Thank you for blessing us.” Sometimes hope looks like something very practical. Reliable transportation. The ability to keep going. The ability to keep going. #mesaaz

"Since we’ve been here, it’s given us peace of mind knowing we finally have a place of our own to call home. I’m saving for a down payment on a house and starting school soon. I’ve learned how to budget, avoid debt, and focus on my goals. I can take care of my boys.

Healing isn’t instant. Financial recovery doesn’t happen overnight. Stability takes time—and support. Families need space to rebuild credit, find reliable transportation, secure childcare, and regain confidence. Progress happens step by step.
