The Omnicron variant is just another example of how COVID will be prolonged if rich nations and Big Pharma keep blocking vaccine distribution.

Currently in a masterclass with Trisha Greenhalgh, discussing why introducing technologies in the hope of driving change almost never works. Incredible insights are being shared, which I value before heading into a DPhil, where I aim to investigate technology in diabetic footcare.

If you told me years ago, whilst dancing semi-professionally, that I’d meet and learn from a ballet master also doing a PhD in Primary Health Care, I wouldn’t have believed you. Incredible to see patient-led research carried out in the ballet world 🩰Thanks @DamagedDancerDr 🙏

Today I watched this documentary at a private screening, which was organised by a friend who is focusing on RHD for their PhD. Many parts of this felt close to home, this was an accurate representation of the social determinants of health. Everyone should watch this.
