Between 2001-2021, the U.S. had 23,686 Latino firearm suicides accounting for about ⅓ of the total of 74,494 Latino firearm deaths (CDC). The need for urgent action in addressing firearm injuries, deaths, and trauma within Latino communities has never been clearer.

According to the CDC, 1,173 Latino youths (0-17) in the U.S. died by firearm suicide from '1-'21. This signals deep, long-term impacts on community health, mental well-being, and future generations. It's about healing and building resilient communities.
