Experimenting with toast deduplication on Base UI: instead of stacking them, I just make the same toast pulse slightly. Inspired by how Linear handles it.

Interesting a11y side effect of this change: screen readers won't re-announce the same message over and over — only the first instance. WCAG 4.1.3 cautions against apps becoming too "chatty." If I'm not misreading it, screen reader experience should be better too. Any thoughts?

The idea of making a big plan first and let AI work for a long time and I wake up with a product is not working for me. What works best for me is iteration, small steps. The best ideas come while working. Do this, do that, add this, add that, oh that's a cool idea, let's explore.

Whose ⌘K command menu (and/or search) do you actually enjoy using? Linear and Raycast set a really high bar, but beyond those two I struggle to think of many that match them. Also looking for any “oh that’s neat” moments — small details that stuck with you.
