Yesterday, I moved a motion on the adoption of 2nd Report on Diversity Audit in Public Institutions. The report demonstrates the historical injustices and lack of cohesion is a major issue in addressing inequality in the civil service and requires a strong political commitment.

Today, I launched the Mandera West NG-CDF Bursary for 2024-2025 with an allocation of Ksh. 39.5 million in Takaba. This is a significant investment in the future of our youth, providing them with the opportunity to pursue higher education and create a brighter tomorrow.

The sites in Mandera West that have been selected for the development of solar mini-grids under the Kenya Off-Grid Solar Access Project (KOSAP) are Gither, Sake, Gagaba, Ardahalo, Kubihalo and Qofole/Danaba. The project has been contracted, with completion expected in 15 months.
