We need people who care about Alabama. We need people who care about their neighbors. We need people like you to sign up and help us build climate protection in our rural communities. It could save someone’s home, someone’s well-being, and even their life. #CPP2023 #Alabama

“I don’t think any community in Alabama is actually fully prepared when disaster strikes, but in rural communities, in particular, there’s far less resources and less robust infrastructure.” southern-science.com/2023/10/09/com…

AL has an active fall/winter tornado season. As we prepare to enter the Nov storm season, many rural communities are still recovering from this year's Jan 12 tornadoes. This is why we work with communities to develop long-term plans for preparedness & community resilience.
