🌟 Celebrating Black History Month: We honour Viola Desmond, civil rights pioneer who challenged segregation in Canada. Arrested in 1946 for sitting in a whites-only section, sparked a movement. Pardoned in 2010, she then became the first Black woman on a Canadian banknote.

🛏️ #homestaytip: Begin with Trust! 🤝 It’s about vulnerability and connection, crucial in #homestay. In relationships, we need to see the best in each other—requiring others to earn your trust can hinder that growth. Remember, trust comes with boundaries! #JenniferWilson

🇨🇦 Today we remember those who gave their lives so we can live freely, in peace, and share Canada’s beauty with the world. The red poppy reminds us of their sacrifice — a symbol of hope, gratitude, and freedom. We remember. We are grateful. #LestWeForget #RemembranceDay

Festive cheer is in the air! Hosting int'l students during the holidays means giving more than a room — you’re offering belonging. And the best part? They give back with new perspectives, gratitude, and memories that last. Here’s to families who make room at the table. 🎄✨🌍

All this snow is a reminder of why winter feels easier in a homestay ❄️ - A warm home waiting for you. - A caring check-in when you’re not feeling your best. - A hot meal after a long, cold day. - Support when winter feels unfamiliar.
