Fun story: One time during a show I decided to jump off stage during a breakdown to be "cool". Then immediately realized there was no break in the song to get back on stage and had to play the rest of the song in the altar. Plan your jumps, kid.

HP Storytime: In our first practice room we thought it'd be a good idea to put fiberglass over the window so our neighbors didn't hear us. It got hot and Cody almost passed out during practice because we couldn't open the window. Bought a box fan.

HP Fact: Every practice, at some point, includes a random heavy hardcore version of RATM's Bulls on Parade mixed with Killing in the Name of. One day coming to a show near you.

Fun Story: Cody once missed practice, when practice was at his house. Cody is as Cody does.

HP Fun Fact: David was heavily influence by J-Rock for a long time. He was that weird kid on the bus. He had no idea what they were singing, he just liked the way they wrote songs. David has since been saved but sometimes fights the urge to write an anime theme song for Homeplate

David's Show Gear List: Fender Stratocaster Helix LT That's it. I travel light.

For our first EP, we used a JCM and an Orange amp to try to get a classic pop-punk tone. After that we moved to some heavy hitters in the Rectifier and 6505+. This next album is going to have a mix of the previous two and a Rev. Tone Evolution.

When it comes to bass, we use a Fender Jazz. However on Supposed to Be we used a legitimate upright double bass. The guys are obsessed with a Darkglass but you haven't bought enough shirts for them to buy one yet.

Cody bought his first piece of gear in a long time recently, a good ol' Zildjian Sweet Ride. Ask his wife if she was happy about it. Pressure her into being okay with it. Bombard her.

HP Fun Story: We were going to Nashville to see FFAK, and traffic was at a standstill. I had to go #1 really bad and was struggling. Since there were cars all around and Cody has NO TINTED WINDOWS, I prepared to bare all. Luckily we made to a gas station somehow. Relief.
