How beautiful was the performance by our Bulgarian delegates singing the traditional song 'Nazad, nazad, mome Kalino' at #HNICongress2023! Their voices transported us to their homeland and reminded us of the power of music to connect us across cultures. 🎶🌍

As #HNICongress2023 enters its final day, we reflect on the past few days and feel proud of what we've accomplished. And what better way to start the day than with a lively dancing party from our South East-Asian delegates?? 🌸💃🏽🎉

We have just witnessed the historic moment of HNI's first declaration being read and endorsed at #HNICongress2023 — this is the biggest outcome document of our Congress, and will pave the way for a better future for home-based workers around the world!

The declaration includes important demands such as the need for HBWs to be heard while formulating policies concerning them, and also, commitments to building capacities (e.g., digital literacy) and conducting research on climate change impact.

We did it! What an incredible end to #HNICongress2023 with a powerful speech from Sally Roever, WIEGO's international coordinator, inspiring us to continue organising for the rights of home-based workers!
