I was delighted to visit Lambeth River Station today to see first-hand London Fire Brigade’s new state-of-the-art fire boats. The new boats are a part of my £40m investment to expand and modernise the Brigade to ensure it is better equipped to fight fires and keep Londoners safe.

Had the pleasure of attending the event yesterday. A really proud moment to see the boats together on the Thames. The two boats looked really good and are a testament to the hard work of our team that built the boats in Holyhead and to Camarc Design who provided the design.

Two new Camarc fire boats enter service on the Thames for the London Fire Brigade . The 16m all-aluminium waterjet shallow-draft vessels were built by partners Holyhead Marine achieving 40+ Knots, with a bow ramp layout for rescue operations on the banks & mud flats of the Thames.

HMS Biter has commenced her annual maintenance period! More to follow over the coming weeks as our engineers work with their civilian counterparts to get Biter ready for a busy year ahead! #CoastalForcesSquadron #SmallShipBigImpact

This week we battled the frost and made our way north from our home port to Holyhead Marine for our Annual Slip Repair Period 🛠️ Upgrades pending… ⚡️
