Congratulations to Maisie who attended the ITDA Musical theatre awards this weekend in Blackpool where she took part in the UK finals and won! Her dance company JL Dance won the finals. Well done Maisie! We are so proud! #holytrinitystar

Year 3 had an enjoyable school trip to Magna last week, linked to their science and geography topics. They loved the hands-on activities! #holytrinitystars

As part of their Geography unit, Class 7 (Year 4) have taken part in fieldwork looking at our school as a microclimate. #geography #holytrinitystars

Year 4 enjoyed tasting different street foods in preparation for designing and making their own as part of their Design and Technology topic. They tasted: Pizza, Hotdog, Nachos and Salsa and Chicken Satay! #holytrinitystars

On 8th July, our beekeepers, accompanied by Miss Sefton and Miss Kemp, went to the Great Yorkshire Show where we entered some of our honey, a candle and a photograph into various classes. Our photograph placed 3rd and our honey was judged "highly commended" by the head judge! 🐝

Huge congratulations to Tallulah, who competed in the Dance World Cup in Spain with her dancing, acrobatic and gymnastics skills. She won a huge collection of medals including: Triple World Champion 🥇🥇🥇 1 silver 🥈 2 bronze 🥉🥉 4th 5th x2 6th 8th 10th We are so proud!

The primary phase enjoyed a treat today courtesy of the PTA. It was the perfect day to enjoy an ice-cream outside! 🍦

Congratulations to Lilly in Year 10 who competed on 9th July as a finalist at the Speakers Trust 'Speak Out' challenge. Lilly was selected from thousands of entries to speak on the harmful impact of stereotypes on society. Lilly was commended by the judges for her clarity!

Year 4 have designed and made a street food wrap. The children have been using their cutting, grating, spreading and wrapping skills. We then ate them in the best area in school according to our Geography microclimate study. They went down a treat! #holytrinitystars

As part of our work on careers, last week, the netminder for the Sheffield Steelers called Alex Oldale paid KS2 a visit. He is from Hoyland and played for Manchester Storm last year and has signed a two way deal with the Sheffield Steeldogs and the Sheffield Steelers this year!

Wow, what a week. Starting off on Wednesday we had our Secondary Sports Day with Uriel winning the day overall with some impressive performances on the track and in the morning activities. HolyTrinity3-16

A beautiful end of year liturgy was held today to celebrate everything we have achieved this year. Huge thanks to all the students who read, danced and sung. You were amazing (and so brave!). Thank you to Mr Green and Mrs Abdy for organising it - it was a lovely end to the year.
