Thank you to Fr. Carlos and Jen for joining our school community for Mass today. We appreciate the contributions of Mrs. Huarte and her Gr 7 class and our school choir, led by Mrs. Cottrell and Mrs. Schmidt, for leading us in prayer as we prepare for Jesus' coming this Advent.

Yesterday, Miss. Sophia our Principal for the day, helped keep the school running smoothly and enjoyed a special reward with three friends for all her hard work. Thank you to Mr. Cacciola for the donation of this special prize at our recent school fundraiser. Halton Catholic DSB

Vice Principal of the Day Harper helped us to lead the school yesterday. We are grateful she was there to read announcements, help supervise at recess and enjoy a special lunch with her peers in the VP office. Thanks VP Harper.

We were so happy that our FDK classes were able to share the gift of song with our elderly nighbours in residence at Amica Georgetown. Thank you for allowing us to share our Christmas spirit with you.

Congratulations to our students who won the Virtue of the Month award for their class for Catholic hope. Thank you also to all our students for demonstrating Christ's Love in Action each day at Holy Cross School; a special congratulations to our divisional winners in December.

Congratulations to our Junior girls indoor soccer team for their excellent game play and achievements at the St. Francis of Xavier tournament last week. The team finished 1st in their Division and 4th overall out of 16 schools. Thank you to Mrs. Thompson for coaching.
